What are our check-in and check-out times?

Our standard check-in time is at 4:00 pm (EST) and check-out time is at 11:00 am (EST). Please know that we need this time to clean and prepare the cabin for our next guest. If you decide to extend your vacation, you can contact us to see if the cabin is available. You will need a new code for the front door to work.

What are our reservation requirements and security deposit?

We ask for a credit card or $200 check for the security/damage deposit along with our lease agreement to confirm your reservation. The security deposit converts to a damage deposit upon check-in. If reserving with a credit card, we do an authorization only. This means that we verify that it is a valid credit card and there will not be a charge to your credit card providing there has been no damage to the unit or its contents, all garbage has been placed in the outside garbage container and soiled dishes placed in dishwasher and cleaned.  If reserving our cabin by check, your deposit will be returned to you in the form of a company check by mail within 14 days of your departure.

Can you hold a date for me?

Your reservation date is not held or confirmed until we receive your security deposit and a signed lease.

When is the full payment due?

The full payment is required 30 days prior to the check-in date. As soon as we have the full payment, we will email all of the check-in information to you. This includes the detailed directions to the cabin along with the code to the keyless entry. This code changes with every guest. If the check-in date is within 30 days of the arrival date, the full payment and security deposit would be due immediately to make the reservation.

What is our cancellation policy?

If you must cancel or shorten your stay, notice must be given in writing and sent by certified mail 30 days prior to check-in date for a full refund. If you cancel within 30 days of the check-in date you will be charged a $45 cancellation fee. If you cancel between 0 and 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund for all monies paid minus 1 night’s rental rate. This will be issued back to you in the form of a gift certificate to be applied toward a future stay. The gift certificate must be used within 1 calendar year of your cancelled reservation. Please understand that a cancellation this late will make it extremely difficult for us to rebook the cabin. If you are making your reservation within 30 days of your arrival date, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

Do we need to bring any linens or other items?

Our cabin is supplied with bed linens, towels, wash cloths, blankets and pillows. These items are not changed during your stay. We also provide a starter supply of toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soaps, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and trash bags for your convenience.

We do not supply charcoal for the grill, aluminum foil, coffee filters, plastic wrap, and all your food J. Many guests also like to bring their own beach towels for hot tub use. There are several grocery stores close by for your convenience in picking up any extra supplies.

Do you allow pets?

We do not allow any pets at all in our cabin. Please understand that some of our guests and people in our family do have severe allergies. It is very important that our cabin remain pet free. You will forfeit your $200 deposit and potentially incur other cleaning fees if we determine that you brought an animal in.
